Sometimes users just need a quick hand getting through a minor problem. Lizardwebs remote services allow just that – a quick way to get in and make a small change. If you are interested in remote services, you will need to have an internet connection and a working browser to download a small executable file. The file does not require installation but will allow us to access your computer via the internet. Some antivirus programs will warn you of the executable, but it is a safe file.

In some cases, this is not particularly efficient as the user needs to be right there. If reboots are needed, the user will need to help with the reboot and relaunch the application. This can be particularly annoying when removing viruses if multiple reboots are needed and we prefer to handle virus issues with onsite service.

Nonetheless, remote support can be a life-saver at times! We are currently testing TeamViewer as our preferred connection. It is considerably easier to work with than our prior remote connect methods. Contact us prior to launching the file to arrange a support time. Customer will need to be available on the phone when the remote connection session is started.

Prepayment is required for all remote work unless you are an existing customer. All payments can be made using any credit card through PayPal. Remote support is $50 for the first hour. When you contact Lizardwebs, we will generate an email invoice. Upon receipt of the payment, a time can be scheduled and confirmed for the remote support to take place.
